Error Codes 7, 8, & 9 are associated with the automatic Wi-Fi shut off valve. This is an optional feature that you can purchase for our Wi-Fi water softeners.
If any of these 3 codes appear on your softener's screen, there are two things it could be:
1. A cable has been disconnected
- Check your wiring. The cable may have disconnected from your control board. If this is the case, reconnect the wiring. To clear the code: press and hold the Recharge button for 3 seconds.
2. The water shut off valve is bad
- If the wiring is connected correctly and you still have one of these error codes, it means your shut off valve is bad and you'll need to replace it. You can clear the code on the screen to to confirm: press and hold the Recharge button for 3 seconds. Wait a few minutes and if the error 7, 8 or 9 code reappears, you'll need to replace your shut off valve.
